UGGH. Another bad title. Sorry sorry! D:
The theme for this round was to pick something that means a lot to you and make a half human hybrid with it, with creativity a big emphasis. I chose "science and technology." Before you ask, yeah, coffee was a VERY close second (rofl). This came out just about how I wanted it to, which actually means something because it was VERY tough to pixel. Fitting that electrical wire patterning to look good on a human shape was such a challenge. The shading especially I am super proud of; it kind of reminds me of my "Rhyvera" deviation with the really high contrast shading and I think I did even better here ([link] for comparison). Critique is always welcome. |

Argument is the only way to better understand your OWN beliefs.
The other thing is the waist-hips area. On her left, there's not much waist. If her torso's supposed to be basically straight, probably her hip and waist should be more separated, curvier. If her left is not so curvy because she's leaning to the right, her right hip should stick out a bit I think. O_o It might be just me watching too much anime.

Introduce me to your fandom so I could slash the pretty guys you obsess over.

Nice one. It actually reminds me of the protagonist of My Life as a Teenage Robot in a way. XD

The journey of a single step begins with a single step.
In the infinite vastness of the universe, I believe stupidity is its only constant.
It varies in degree and variety, but in the end, it is there.
I really tried to get that arm to look as if it were at an angle, and I think the lines and shading is just a bit off where if you look closely it looks odd, like you said.
I tried to make her body look more angled than curvy like a human's to show off that robotic look to her. I'm having a hard time seeing the problem with the hips, but I haven't had any art classes or training dealing with anatomy so I'm not doubting that there is one.
Anyway thanks for the critique, it's always welcome
i love the smooth shading
and the contrast of the blue sparks
the melted looking base looks bad ass too

We wrote our names down on the sidewalk
But the rain came and washed them off
So we should write them again on wet cement
So people a long time from now will know what we meant
